OVERVIEW:

The IT Engineer role is to lead or assist in the support, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT applications and hardware. This role is responsible for providing customer support and responding to and resolving Tier 3 IT support requests.  This individual is also responsible for collaborating with internal customers and system vendors to gather information, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues. 

The IT Engineer may oversee and/or participate in the installation, implementation, and updating of IT systems.  Assignments may include, but will not be limited to, opportunities to work on projects involving PCs, servers, networking, telecom, software applications, and mobile technology.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide Tier 3 support for IT applications and hardware
  • Respond to, troubleshoot, and resolve IT support requests in a timely manner
  • Document and close support requests in an ITSM system
  • Communicate with internal customers and external vendors to resolve IT issues
  • Support, install, implement, and update IT applications and hardware
  • Identify and reduce technical issues for the end user environment as a whole

 

 

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 5 years of IT experience
  • Working technical experience supporting, troubleshooting, and maintaining IT applications and hardware
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft O365 and all Office products
  • Active Directory experience
  • MS Intune experience
  • Experience with SCCM tools and features
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory
  • Experience with MDM solutions. MobileIron, JAMF
  • iPad Experience and Mac OS/iOS
  • Advanced Experience with how different IT platforms interact, work in tandem and sync. (example calendars on Apple, Windows and Android devices)
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Dependable, self-motivitated, and productive with limited direct supervision
  • Strong Customer Service skills
