Senior Learning Specialist

TeamHealth Knoxville, TN (Remote) Full-Time

Position Summary

The Senior Learning Specialist is responsible for the full lifecycle of learning programs, from needs analysis and design to delivery and evaluation. This role is critical in developing and implementing engaging and effective training solutions that enhance associate knowledge, skills, and performance at TeamHealth. The ideal candidate will be creative and results-oriented, with excellent communication, facilitation, and project management skills.

Reports to: Director of Talent Development
Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Job Duties and Responsibilities

eLearning Design & Development

  • Design, develop, and implement learning programs (functional onboarding, professional development, leadership development) tailored to the organization's different teams and roles.
  • Create and update engaging and interactive training materials, including presentations, e-learning modules, videos, and workshops.
  • Collaborate with subject-matter experts to ensure content is accurate, relevant, and impactful.

Facilitation & Training Delivery

  • Facilitate professional development training sessions, workshops, and discussions for associates and managers, bringing an engaging facilitation style that includes everyone in the training sessions.
  • Employ adult learning principles and best practices to ensure an inclusive and impactful learning experience.
  • Coordinate, develop, and execute learning program train-the-trainer sessions. Effectively deliver these sessions and provide constructive feedback to improve training delivery.

Assessment & Evaluation

  • Assess organizational needs to identify areas where Talent Development & learning programs are most impactful.
  • Measure the effectiveness of learning programs through feedback surveys, assessments, and key performance indicators.
  • Use data to improve learning programs and strategies continuously.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Creative, innovative approach to learning design and delivery, with a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Strong facilitation skills with the ability to create safe, inclusive learning spaces.
  • Proficiency in e-learning & video development tools (e.g., Articulate, Camtasia, or similar).
  • Excellent administrative and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to effectively manage tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent project management, organization, and communication skills, including proficiency in Asana, to balance the demands of multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate across functions, including managers and associates, to meet training and development needs.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and evaluate program outcomes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Required Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Instructional Design, Business Administration, or a related field.
Required Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in talent development, learning & development, or e-learning content creation.
  • Hands-on experience with e-learning development tools such as Articulate Storyline 360, Articulate Rise, or similar.
  • Proficiency in Project Management Tools such as Asana or similar
  • Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills that are dynamic and engaging.
