JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW:
The SEG TACT PRACTICE COORDINATOR is responsible for assisting with the management of the SEG TACT team including data collection, licensure assistance, and allocation assistance. The PRACTICE COORDINATOR is responsible for working in close collaboration with the onboarding and credentialing team in obtaining, reconciling and forwarding all required documents for new clinicians as well as reappointments and facility additions. The individual in this position is required to meet target goals as outlined by the SEG APC Director.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The PRACTICE COORDINATOR has the responsibility to carry out duties as
    directed by TeamHealth
  • The PRACTICE COORDINATOR shall communicate on a regular basis with the designated TeamHealth supervisor
  • The PRACTICE COORDINATOR will follow and maintain patient confidentiality appropriate with HIPAA compliance standards at all times
  • Access TeamHealth information systems, or work with provider services staff to procure clinician information related to onboarding, contracting, and scheduling
  • Revise and maintain data for completion of SEG TACT dashboard, maintain professional appearance and performance at all times
  • The PRACTICE COORDINATOR is expected to identify and retrieve all missing or incomplete application and licensure information as requested from the provider service team
  • The PRACTICE COORDINATOR will assume tasks, duties and responsibilities as assigned by the SEG APC Director
  • The PRACTICE COORDINATOR shall develop and maintain a positive working relationship with the team
  • Vacation and time off is to be scheduled in advance to ensure the workflow is not interrupted

Job Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

  • Since the position is remote to TeamHealth Southeast, it requires an individual who has the ability to work independently. The individual must be conscientious about reporting to the affiliate and must maintain the shipping schedule as defined by TeamHealth management
  • General knowledge of the Advanced Practice onboarding and credentialing as well as knowledge of APC supervision requirements
  • College degree preferred
  • Good computer skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, able to deal with multiple tasks
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships
  • Ability to work independently with speed and accuracy
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative
  • Detailed oriented with efficient time management abilities
  • Ability to deal effectively with confidential information

PHYSICAL / ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

  • Job performed in a well-lit work area (within the emergency department or designate area of the hospital)
  • Occasional lifting/carrying (usually 10 pounds or less)
  • Prolonged sitting, standing, work on a photocopier, scanner, fax and PC
  • Telephone work
