JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW:

  • This position is responsible for printing remits for all anesthesia lockboxes, guarantor, and carrier payments along with uploading payments into the Cash Clearing System for reconciliation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Print all lockboxes for imaging and batch tracking with deposit date, group, and batch amount.
  • Upload the daily download and put the payments into the Cash Clearing System.
  • Update the Daily Deposit Spreadsheet.
  • Scan checks daily into the 5th 3rd bank account and batch tracking with deposit date, group, and batch amount.
  • Print and batch track the CRNA groups.
  • Print remits off of carrier websites along with zero pay remits.
  • Sort the mail by carrier.
  • Work spreadsheets for the close of the batch period.

Job Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

  • High School diploma or equivalent;
  • One year experience;
  • Computer literate, including knowledge of Excel;
  • Excellent follow-up skills;
  • Excellent organizational skills;
  • Regular and predictable onsite attendance;
  • High level of interaction and teamwork.

PHYSICAL / ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

This job is performed in a well-lighted and well-vented environment. Requires constant sitting tolerance. Extended amount of time spent in front of computer display terminal. This position may require manual dexterity and/or frequent use of the computer, telephone, 10-key, calculator, office machines (copier, scanner, and fax) and/or the ability to perform repetitive motions and/or meet production standards to comply with the essential functions. Also, may require physical and/or mental stamina to work overtime, additional hours beyond a regular schedule and/or more than five days per week.
