Inside Sales Consultant

OVERVIEW:

The Inside Sales Consultant’s (ISC) main responsibility is to build relationships with key hospital decision makers and to schedule quality appointments with them for their business development Vice Presidents (BDVPs). Additionally, the inside sales consultant provides support to the BDVPs across all service lines.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Meet or exceed goals for scheduling appointments (leads) for your designated vice presidents of business development with hospital decision makers and influencers
  • Develop strategies that lead to achieving goals
  • Proactively and routinely contact hospital C-suite and VP level hospital executives in your assigned accounts to identify and create potential sales leads for new emergency medicine, hospital medicine, specialty hospitalist and anesthesia contracts
  • Help create new prospecting content for phone calls and emails
  • Maintain accurate information in Microsoft Dynamics CRM database as it pertains to assigned facilities. Such information includes, but is not limited to, decision-makers, current contract holders, volumes, systems and other facility information and activities
  • Follow the formal sales process which includes pre-call research, call planning and post-call activities
  • Gather and record in CRM valuable competitive information at each stage of the sales process
  • Review information sources on a regular basis to identify trends/changes in healthcare in general and for facilities in designated territory
  • Participate in all department and company meetings and trainings. Some meetings require air travel
  • Support fellow teammates by sharing best practices and other job related information
  • Provide timely and accurate support to your BDVPs.
  • Other duties as assigned by leadership

Job Requirements:



JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience selling to executive levels within organizations
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven successful inside sales experience
  • Results-driven
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, effective interpersonal skills
  • Focused, self-reliant, and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute strategy
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Ability to function as part of a team as well as independently
  • Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in current Microsoft Office and CRM programs
  • Professional in demeanor and appearance
