Job Requirements of Telecom Engineer - Remote:
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

- Previous experience with Genesys Cloud CX highly preferred
- Strong understanding of telecommunications systems and protocols
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Genesys Certified Professional) are a plus.
- Experience supporting RightFax is a plus
- Experience with VoIP, SIP, and other telecommunication technologies
- Familiarity with network infrastructure and security
- Project management experience
- Preferred Skills:
- Genesys Architect
- Genesys API
- Genesys Data Actions

OVERVIEW:
As a Contact Center & Telecommunications Engineer at TeamHealth you will part of a team responsible for providing smart solutions and high performance of telecom systems: Genesys Cloud CX.
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Contact Center/IVR/ACD technologies, preferably with Genesys Cloud CX. Candidate must be a team player who can be involved in project implementation, operation, and optimization of technologies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, implement, and maintain telecommunications systems, including Genesys Cloud CX
- Configure and optimize Genesys Cloud CX to meet business requirements
- Monitor and troubleshoot telecommunications systems to ensure high availability and performance
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to integrate telecommunications solutions with other systems
- Provide technical support and training to trainers
- Develop and maintain documentation for telecommunications systems and processes
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the company’s telecommunications infrastructure remains current and effective, including the use of AI to increase call center productivity
- Provide 7x24x365 on-call support on a rotating basis
