Job Requirements of Learning Development Specialist:
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:- Must be dependable, reliable and organized.
This includes attendance, adhering to work schedules and producing accurate work. - Proficiency in Articulate 360 (Storyline & Rise) and Vyond Videos preferred.
Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, and have the ability to work on a computer network and the FACS system. - Earn ACA International Professional Collection Specialist (PCS) credential within 6 months after the date of hire and maintain proficiency.
- Earn ACA Trainer Specialist (TS) credential within 12 months after the date of hire and maintain proficiency.
- Ability to work independently, carrying out routine tasks and assignments on a scheduled basis with minimal management intervention.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Post-secondary school education is helpful.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in training and development, ideally in a virtual environment.
- Strong Communication and Facilitation Skills: With the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences, convey complex information clearly, and adapt training methods to different learning styles.
- Capable of prioritizing multiple tasks, meeting deadlines, and working effectively in a remote environment.
- Customer-Centric Mindset: A collaborative attitude and commitment to delivering exceptional training experiences that empower HRRG team members to succeed.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Knowledgeable about industry practices in compliance and conflict resolution.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Facilitate and support virtual New Hire training classes promoting HRRG’s core values, a supportive engaging learning environment and effective/efficient knowledge transfer.
- Project a welcoming, professional, positive, energetic, engaging and inviting attitude.
- Proactively conducts technical and non-technical, virtual training leveraging technology to provide success in an employee’s current and/or desired role.
- Leverage industry leading tools to deliver and develop engaging virtual training experiences. (Experience with Articulate and Vyond preferred).
- Collaborate with Key Stakeholders: Work closely with the Operations team and leadership to assure training materials remain relevant, impactful, and aligned with company goals.
- Apply instructional design methodologies to assure training is effective, accessible, and engaging for a remote workforce.
- Maintain a directory containing: compliance artifacts, links to self-service webpages, HRRG’s values, and additional resources that staff utilize daily.
- Maintain the accuracy and consistency of training records.
- Evaluate learners’ performance and track on new hire scorecards.
- Participate in monthly retrospective meetings to provide input on observations from trainees in class.
- Provide new hire and recurring training covering compliance with HRRG’s policies and procedures for federal consumer financial laws, including FDCPA, FCRA, HIPAA, TCPA, EFTA, GLBA, UDAAP and any corresponding regulations.
- Assist with gathering compliance training data/metrics for internal and external regulatory audits and inquiries.
- Manage eLearning systems and tools provided by vendors for training and support to end users.
- Review training logs to assure all members of the workforce are assigned and completing required training as per HRRG policy.
- Other duties as assigned by HRRG leadership.
