IT Client Project Manager

The position is remote anywhere in the U.S.

OVERVIEW:

Serve as the IT Client Project Manager and the lead technical coordinator/ liaison between a set of facilities (hospitals) and internal Operations clients. The IT Project Manager will be responsible for the initial stages of making contact with the hospital and starting the process of getting them transferred over to Team Health’s electronic billing system. This person will be the initial contact with the facility.

This junior position is ideal for someone with 2 years of IT support with excellent communication skills and has the ability to partner with hospital and internal clients effectively.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for making contact with the hospital and starting the process of getting them transferred over to Team Health’s electronic billing system and documenting progress made when they have made contact and conversations that are had with each facility
  • Long term the position is responsible for implementation of interfaces (Go-Lives and Conversions) for their select facilities in a up and running state through maintaining working relationship with each facility, Chart Capture and Billing Center Operations
  • Manage all technical interface requirements for a given set of facilities as defined by the HIE Technical Operations team
  • Initiate all communications with facility IT to setup a new facility or follow through on a production issue within the first two weeks of a go-live or conversion
  • Maintain a current state report for all sites being worked with details on last communications and action items
  • Ensure proper communication is made between divisions and billing centers to keep everyone on the same page with efforts
  • Communicate with various IT employees of the different hospitals and keeping a detail log of what is happening

Job Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field preferred, or equivalent education and professional experience, required
  • Two (2) years’ experience in an IT support role
  • Knowledge of hospital-based information systems preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (both oral and written)
  • Knowledge of file transfer protocols and familiarity with network VPN configurations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills oriented toward professionalism and customer service and ability to work with minimal direction/supervision
  • Flexibility to quickly adapt to any new business environment
  • Experience in coordinating simultaneous assignments by assessing project deadlines, establishing work priorities, and coordinating personal work schedule
  • Ideally have 1-2 yrs. of experience with IT project coordination. All projects/documentations/tickets are done using Samanage
  • Understanding of B2B connections, FTP transfers, VPN, HL7 l a plus. Any healthcare experience would be a plus
  • Proficient with Outlook and comfortable doing some data entry work that is required. Hands-on technical work is minimal
  • Project coordination and any type of systems analyst background
