The VP of Collection Agency Operations is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of HRRG’s collections and recoveries functions.
This leader will develop and deliver the strategy and roadmap for HRRG’s operations.
This position will have deep collections and recoveries responsibilities utilizing strong analytical and problem-solving skills, strong cross-functional leadership skills, and an effective working knowledge of consumer finance laws and regulations.
Operational Leadership:
- Develops and implements a comprehensive collections strategy aligned with HRRG’s goals.
- Ensures efficient day-to-day operations through leadership of internal teams and third-party vendors.
- Manages relationships with stakeholders (e.g., HR, Legal, Compliance, IT).
- Monitors adherence to consumer finance laws and regulations.
- Manages the collections and recoveries budget while prioritizing consumer-centric approaches.
- Tracks and reports on key performance metrics (KPIs) for collections.
- Drives continuous process improvement initiatives, responding to audits, litigation, and non-conformities.
- Oversees UDAAP compliance in compensation structures and work strategies.
- Works with leadership to develop technology and communication strategies.
- Coordinates with HR to ensure compliance with workforce clearance standards.
- Collaborates with training teams to ensure the development of collection leaders and agents.
- Creates performance expectations and incentive programs that are aligned with UDAAP policies.
- Offers professional development opportunities for team members.
- Works with EIT to implement new technologies and reporting tools.
- Oversees omnichannel communication strategies, including dialing campaigns.
- Reviews internal processes and recommends improvements to enhance operational performance.
- Collaborates with stakeholders to develop compliant collection scripts and patient engagement strategies.
- Manages department budgets and financial guidelines.
- Develops and reports on KPIs, providing regular updates to leadership and the Oversight Committee (OC).
- Assists in workflow design and implementation with EIT.
- Participates in legal and compliance meetings, staying current on industry trends and regulations.
