Director, Collections Engagement & Optimization (Remote)

SUMMARY:

Through its internal collection agency, Healthcare Revenue Recovery Group, TeamHealth provides collections services to its clients. Healthcare Revenue Recovery Group receives support at a technical level from the Revenue Systems Solutions (RSS) IT team.

The RSS IT team currently has an opening for a Director, IT Collections Optimization. The Director is responsible for driving the vision and leading the implementation of technology required to support multiple channels for inbound/outbound contact center operations, collect and track customer data across all these channels, and make it available for specific omnichannel tactics (e.g., tactics related to customer support).

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Define and enable a best-in-class omnichannel technology platform for the company’s call center communications
  • Build the consumer experience and technology strategy across every touchpoint
  • Champion solutions that deliver value and expand ROI for Agency operations
  • Maintain the broader roadmap across Agency call center operations and technology teams
  • Leverage the expertise of the Agency’s SMEs to drive consumer engagement and alignment
  • Champion and drive change towards a more patient-centric culture

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement transformation projects to drive cost efficiencies and increased automation
  • Identify opportunities for appropriate and cost-effective investment in IT systems and resources
  • Implement processes and standards and effectively communicate those

Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology or closely related field
  • Five years’ experience working with and leading IT teams supporting inbound/outbound contact center operations and omnichannels environments

Skills

  • Highly collaborative with experience leading IT operations in contact center environments
  • A proven track record of omnichannel technology delivery
  • Effective working with and influencing senior executives in a cross-functional context (IT and operations)
  • Able to use both quantitative and qualitative data to drive decision making
  • Experience working with/supporting Collection systems applications (ie. FACS or a similar application preferred)
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Work with minimal supervision
