- Should have two to three years of marketing, sales, physician recruiting, or event management experience.
- Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to excel under pressure and handle multiple projects with competing deadlines
- The individual must be highly energetic, a self-starter, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to travel up to 75%

JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW:
The Residency Relations Specialist establishes strong working relationships with residents and residency programs to increase awareness of residents' opportunities with TeamHealth. This position coordinates residency recruitment events and creates lasting relationships with residents focused on Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Anesthesia service lines. The Resident Relations Specialist organizes and attends residency recruitment functions to showcase TeamHealth's culture and ensure that TeamHealth is the practice of choice for all residents.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partners with TeamHealth divisional leadership to plan successful strategies for residency recruitment
- Research residency program demographics within assigned territory. Identifies residency program contacts: program director, program coordinator, and/or chief resident(s). Initializes contact and establishes relationships with residency programs to familiarize them with TeamHealth.
- Organizes and attends all residency recruitment functions within assigned territory for all residency training programs. Works one-on-one with residency program contact to fully execute the recruitment function. Identifies and collaborates with TeamHealth physician(s) to attend and speak at residency recruitment functions. Arrange for physician travel.
- Contracts with vendors and negotiates pricing terms for recruitment function.
- Maximizes TeamHealth exposure to residents by marketing the announcement of the recruitment function through multiple mediums. Responsible for selecting and ordering TeamHealth promotional items to be given to residents at recruitment functions. Responsible for presenting TeamHealth brand and information at each residency recruitment event. Collaborates with TeamHealth physician recruiters to match residents with desired TeamHealth locations/opportunities.
- Provides constant communication and feedback to TeamHealth divisional leadership on all details of residency recruitment events.
- Corresponds with each resident within the assigned territory.
- Places cold telephone calls to achieve recruiting goals and identify potential contracting candidates.
- Establishes and operates within individual working budget for residency recruitment outreach.
- Updates and enters all resident information into the TeamWorks system.
- Interfaces with Marketing, Accounting, and Physician Recruiting continually to ensure all resident recruitment functions are carried out promptly and efficiently.
