QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or equivalent;
Six months to one year in healthcare, specifically in Accounts Receivable and /or
Denials and Appeals related to insurance claim filing in an office or hospital settings;
Excellent organizational skills;
Ability to type 45 words per minute or better;
Strong analytical skills;
Excellent problem solving;
Excellent communication skills;
Excellent Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel skills;
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
Ability to convey information accurately and clearly;
Regular and predictable onsite attendance;
High level of interaction and teamwork.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

PHYSICAL / ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
5 days per week
Overtime may be required
This job is performed in a well-lighted and well-vented environment. Requires constant sitting
tolerance. Extended amount of time spent in front of computer display terminal. This position
may require manual dexterity and/or frequent use of the computer, telephone, 10-key, calculator,
office machines (copier, scanner, and fax) and/or the ability to perform repetitive motions and/or
meet production standards to comply with the essential functions. Also, may require physical
and/or mental stamina to work overtime, additional hours beyond a regular schedule and/or more
than five days per week.

Audit Tracking Systems Representative

JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW:
This position is responsible for entering data in the Audit Tracking System via AES within the IDX Software. The data consists of payer audits, audit types, audit reasons, outcomes, revenue impact and risks. The Audit Tracking System will allow HCFS to track audits, report and respond to deadlines to avoid revenue loss and process audits timely. The employee must have good organizational skills, be flexible, proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel. In addition, time management is very important.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The ATS Representative will input, track, maintain, and edit the audit data via AES within the IDX Software and into the Audit Tracking System.
The data will consist of the following: Data Types Internal Audit Tracking Number Audit Reason Patient Name Response Due Date #1 IDX MRN Number Auditor Bar Group Response Due Date #2 Invoice Number Payer Transaction Number $ at Risk CPT $ Lost Modifier Medical Record Sent Audit Type Date Third Party Type Payer Response Letter Date
Enter the payer response, once received, in ATS.
Enter detailed information related to the audit within the comment screen of the Audit Tracking System.
The ATS Representative will also input, track, maintain and edit all applicable RAC data as outlined in the HCFS Policy 4.4.18; 2
Responsible for reviewing, researching, and maintaining the ATS Billing Center Reports.
Responsible for providing weekly audit status, trends, and issues to the Director of Patient Services and the Billing Center Vice President.
Other duties as directed.
