Job Requirements of Senior Specialist, Wellness- Hybrid:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in organizational development or management, business administration, psychology, health sciences or related field required or equivalent level of professional certifications and experience.
Experience
- A minimum of three (3) years recent experience in project management involving projects crossing multiple business functions
- Familiarity with workplace wellbeing initiatives and partnerships
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to independently organize and prioritize work, meet deadlines, take initiative, resolve problems and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously;
- Strong organizational and analytical skills;
- Experience working in a matrix organization with the ability to work cross-functionally and build strong internal relationships
- Excellent computer skills (MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Superior communication skills – verbal, written, presentation and negotiation;
- Certification - A Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred;
- Health experience preferred but not required;
- Registered Dietitian (RD) or bachelor’s degree in nutrition or related field preferred but not required

Position Summary
The Senior Specialist, Wellness is responsible for understanding and executing operational business requirements for select Human Resources and Benefits projects and programs with a focus on associate well-being. They will develop and own projects and initiatives from conception to completion in order to achieve business success.
The individual must be highly energetic, solution driven and flexible in his/her interpersonal style. They need to have a passion for well-being and promoting a healthy work environment. Outstanding communications skills in both written and verbal expression are required. The individual should be a self-starter, creative thinker, and adept in using metrics to drive performance and driven to succeed.
Reporting Relationship
Reports To: Manager, Employee Well-being
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Accountable for assigned projects within Benefits and Wellness creating and executing project plans, including development of delivery/implementation plan, action plans and tracking key project milestones.
- Assists in development and communication of well-being campaigns, initiatives and projects.
- Conducts well-being presentations and answers associate and leader questions around the program and benefits.
- Execute programs and events both virtually and in-person, including coordinating day-of on-site logistics and troubleshooting issues as needed.
- Contribute ideas and opinions about strategic issues for consideration by collecting and analyzing data, assisting in developing presentations, and drafting project and program recommendations.
- Work cross-functionally on programs encompassing employee health and wellness through the EAP, health plans and other resources available.
- Potential to work one-on-one with associates to facilitate change in health behavior if knowledge and skills allow
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
