SIGN-ON BONUS

The hired candidate is eligible for a $2,000 sign-on bonus. This will be distributed as $1,000 at 90 days of employment and the remaining $1,000 at 6 months of employment.

*We're seeking a certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse to support our OB/GYN clinic located in Leesburg, VA. The candidate will need to be within driving distance of the facility.

In this position, it's ideal, but not required to utilize your Bilingual Spanish communication skills to deliver exceptional customer service to our diverse patient base. Join us in making a meaningful impact on our patients' experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Under direction of providers, assist with patient care, assessment and procedures; collaborate with providers in the treatment and well-being of all patients during pregnancy
  • Facilitate efficient flow of patients through the clinic. Serve as a critical link between the providers and patients by managing patient phone calls and communicating results of testing, surgery schedules, procedures, etc.
  • Provide patient education regarding prenatal and post-partum care
  • Obtain vital signs, nursing history, physical assessment and document patient care, procedures and patient assessments in the medical record
  • Maintain neat and clean patient exam rooms and work areas; follow infection control policies and procedures in cleaning equipment and all areas of the clinic

Job Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

  • Experience assisting with OB/GYN clinical duties. Obstetrics experience is preferred.

  • EDUCATION: High School Diploma required. Medical Assistant or License Practical Nurse certification required. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Intermediate computer skills required
  • Must have ability to handle appropriately confidential information
  • Must have excellent professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of hazardous materials used in the clinic required
  • Must have ability to work in new situations, grasp new ideas and adapt to new procedures
  • Must have ability to evaluate available data and come to sound conclusions
